Customer Review, September 2013
Having walked out of a nearby venue owing
to a complete lack of service, we decided to have lunch at The Pheasant Inn I
am pleased to say we found the service and food excellent
The food was served in less than ten minutes of ordering and it was piping hot and of good quality, the drinks were also delivered promptly via very pleasant staff.
This is the second time we have recently had lunch at this restaurant and have been very pleased on each occasion.

Excellent food and comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. The cost was fair, and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. We stayed for only one night, but are already thinking about a return trip. Staff service gave that bit extra

Ate here at last Saturday evening. We arrived an hour early so we could savour the view and although fairly cloudy we could still make out Liverpool Cathedral on the horizon. Great selection of ales and a good wine list. Food was very good - and the rhubarb mess was delightful. Only tip - ask for a window table when you book!

Stayed at The Pheasant on a two day trip down memory lane with my family. It had been my Grandfather's favourite pub and my mother tells stories of sitting on the wall drinking pop, the aroma of the muck heap which then graced the courtyard in the air! Today, it is a beautiful pub with stunning views, delicious food, and, in our executive room for three, all the modern comforts we could have wished for under beamed ceilings. Will definitely be returning to do more of the walks in the vicinity. With our 6 year old (who has a cow fascination) we went to Beeston Castle Auction to watch calves being sold, the Cheshire Workshops (fantastic value for an afternoon's entertainment) and Beeston Castle. A superb stay - would heartily recommend to families and couples alike.

Our friends booked lunch for the 4 of us at the Pheasant and it could not have been nicer. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the restaurant and bar area are welcoming and comfortable. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We know where to choose if we want good food and service in wonderful surroundings next time we are in that area.
