It’s one of our favourite fortnights in the culinary calendar at the end of the month and in celebration Head Chef Matt has created a special 3 course menu that showcases the best of local British seasonal produce – plus we have some delicious gin cocktails to pair with it!

 

Steamed Menai mussels, Appleshed cider, garden chives and garlic with toasted sourdough

Herb crusted venison loin, green kale & raspberry vinaigrette, butternut squash and Collier’s Welsh cheddar gratin

Caramelised Bramley apple mousse, blackberry & mint granita, toasted almond and shortcake crumble

Why not pair your food with one of our Gin Twists?  We as a nation are incredibly fond of our G&T (Gin was recently named as Britain’s favourite spirit) and in honour of British Food Fortnight, we’ve created two tasty cocktails using Liverpool’s very own Whitley Neill Gin to complement our set menu – or to enjoy alone!

Whitley Neill raspberry gin with fresh hedgerow berries, lemon & juniper or Whitley Neill rhubarb & ginger gin, stem ginger, orange & rosemary.
