Eating at the Pheasant Inn
At The Pheasant we serve good, honest wholesome food using fresh, local produce awarded for its quality with an AA dining award. During winter months you can enjoy cosy meals around open fires, whilst in the Summer you can dine ‘al fresco’ and admire the panoramic views of the Cheshire plains.
When it comes to food, our philosophy is to use only the freshest and most seasonal produce which is locally sourced wherever possible. We aim to buy the majority of our produce directly from local producers, farms and trawlers. For instance, most of our cheeses all come from a 30 mile radius, including Burland Green, Anne Connolly in Malpas, Kinnerton Ash and Tiresford Guernsey Golden Brie from Tarporley Farm, a lot of our seafood comes straight off the trawler of Welfish of Fleetwood in Lancashire, and our ice cream is sourced from no other than Cheshire Farm Ice Cream who are just down the road from us!
We also place much importance on the ability to change our menu daily if needs be to ensure that we are serving the most freshest and seasonal produce available to us on any one day. Open daily from 12 noon our menu is designed in three sections; a light-bites section for those that fancy a quick pit-stop or a simple salad, a home-comforts section honouring time tested traditional gastro pub food, and a main course section featuring more varied British and European cuisine.

Monday – Thursday – 12 – 9.30pm
Friday – Saturday – 12 – 10pm
Sunday – 12 – 9pm
