The Pheasant Inn has the most idyllic location situated high atop the Peckforton Hills in Cheshire allowing for some of the most scenic of views that this beautiful county has to offer. But the stunning panoramic views are not the only advantage of this perfect location. Being situated in the heart of Cheshire means that this charming country inn is never far from a fun filled activity, a thrilling event or exciting attraction. In fact, in Cheshire we truly are spoilt with things to see and do for all ages, tastes and abilities.

One of our favourite events will soon be upon us, and if you too are an equine lover then this is an event not to be missed! The Bolesworth Classic, now in its sixth year, runs from Thursday 30th May to Sunday 2nd June and is proud to bring world-class show jumping to Cheshire. As well as top class show jumping, this year the Bolesworth Classic are pleased to be holding Burghley Young Event Horse classes which will run alongside The Bolesworth Classic Eventers Grand Prix and promises to be an exciting day of eventing.

With free entry for children under the age of 12, the Classic is the ideal summer family day out.  There will be plenty of activities to wear them out including vintage fairground, climbing wall, bungee trampoline, mini quad biking, zorbing, archery and much more.  Alongside this there will be an action packed display arena featuring Lamb racing, Birds of Prey, Parrots, displays by The Pony Club, vintage cars, and an extensive shopping village.

The brand new Fine Food, Fashion and Lifestyle Festival, with over 30 stands, means that there truly is something for everyone. There will be hair and beauty displays during the show and a wide variety of shopping stalls.  With over 20 local food producers and a real ale bar there will be an excellent showcase of good quality local produce with rare breed meats, hams, chutneys, local cheeses, oils, herbs, confectionary and much more.  In addition there will be cookery demonstrations taking place in a dedicated marquee.
