Taste Cheshire, the official guide to food and drink in our region, recently visited The Pheasant Inn and have shared a lovely review on their experience! Here are just a few snippets;
“Our waitress said that if we needed any recommendations she would be happy to help as the staff had all taken part in a menu tasting. We were impressed by this as it is rare to find staff who are knowledgeable about all the dishes on a menu.”
“It was absolutely delicious, the crispy crumb of the fishcake encased bitesized pieces of smoked haddock and soft potato, the crab and horseradish mayonnaise added just the right amount of creaminess and the pickled radish gave a piquancy which cut through the richness of the dish.”
“The ox cheek had been braised, shredded and encased in crisp crumbs, the salad of baby carrots, leaves, pancetta crumbs, baby capers and an unusual beetroot ketchup were just the right accompaniment, with all the flavours working perfectly together, my partner described it as the best starter he had had in a very long time!”
“The Pheasant Inn is a real hidden gem… From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you are made to feel welcome. Exceptional staff, outstanding food, real ales, cozy accommodation and spectacular views make this a very special place, not to mention the fact that dogs and children really are welcome!”
