The team at The Pheasant Inn, Burwardsley are celebrating their inn becoming a finalist in the Great British Pub Awards 2021. The national awards body honours excellence across the nation’s pubs and highlights Britain’s best-loved locals.
Selected from hundreds of entries and subject to two rigorous rounds of judging, the five-star Pheasant Inn has impressed and secured its place as a finalist in the category of ‘Pub with Rooms.’ The inn has been shortlisted and celebrated not only for its excellent pub offering and AA Rosette awarded dining, but for its country-chic boutique bedrooms, all of which are dog-friendly. The Pheasant Inn has also recently added its first self-catered option, Pennsylvania Cottage, so you can enjoy the comforts of home whilst unwinding at this country inn.
The inn joins just two other finalists representing the county of Cheshire, a great honour in an area so rich with incredible hospitality offerings and pub culture. The winners in each category will be revealed in the upcoming finalists’ ceremony, live-streaming on Youtube and Facebook from 5:30pm on Tuesday 28th September.
Nelson Hotels & Inns operations director, Andrew Nelson, comments: “It is a great achievement for The Pheasant Inn to be celebrated for its comfort and character as a pub with rooms. It has always been our commitment to provide a genuine and warm hospitality experience so that guests can experience the charm of the Cheshire countryside, and it is fantastic to be recognised to this end by the Great British Pub Awards.”
The Pheasant Inn is privately owned and operated by Nelson Hotels & Inns, a family-owned collection of individual hotels, inns and restaurants in Cheshire.
